in collaboration with curbsidejones, i illustrated the album covers for “jigga with the grill” and “nigo with the skully”. both designs drew inspiration from '90s hip-hop and jay-z, blended with early 2000s japanese culture influenced by tomoaki “nigo” nagao. as part of the “jigga with the grill” rollout, i also designed the 1-900-spitter shirt, incorporating a y2k aesthetic with swirls and stars, and roughly referencing luxury brand gucci with the colors.

the collaboration has reached an international audience, with physical cds of “nigo with the skully” now available at lafayette tokyo, a prominent streetwear boutique in shibuya.
