vince staples performed at the 2024 camp flog gnaw festival, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of tyler, the creator's iconic event.
this project was a collaboration with friend and creative director jay curry and animation house shadowmachine. i created the opening video, which featured a handmade “please standby” screen, a countdown animation with a vintage aesthetic inspired by i love lucy and the twilight zone, and a dynamic credit sequence. these visuals honored the festival’s milestone by blending nostalgia with modern creativity, setting the tone for an unforgettable performance.
